You do not need a large AI project to get value. The best first step is usually one repetitive job with a clear result.
Look for work that repeats
Good candidates happen often, follow a pattern and take time without needing much judgement. Sorting enquiries, updating records and drafting routine replies are common examples.
Keep a person in the loop
Early on, let the system draft and let a person approve. You get the time saving and keep control, and you learn where it can be trusted.
As results prove reliable, you can decide what to let it finish alone.
Measure the time saved
Before you start, note how long the job takes and how often it happens. Check the same numbers after a month. If nothing changed, change the design or stop.
